Fifi's Spaceship

Biography

Carried by tasty grooves, Fifi’s Spaceship navigates with energy and virtuosity in the world of pop and soul. Born in the heart of the Basel jazz scene, the project is the result of a collaboration between drummer and composer Alfio Laini (aka Fifi), originally from La Chaux-de-Fonds, and singer Rémy Arenas, based in Strasbourg. Samuel Berthoud (guitar), Julia Kasimova (piano) and Tommy Fuller (bass) complete the crew.

Accompanied by several guests — including Lucerne singer and rapper MISS C-LINE — the group enters the studio to record their first album, Amber Tides, released on November 22, 2024.

Following this first major release, the group is already working on their next album. Their new music skillfully combines jazz heritage, soulful voices worthy of the great figures of the genre, and modern pop/rock productions.

The first single from this new chapter, Doctor, was released on November 21, 2026.
